Who We Are
Housed in the historic State Theatre—a venue for live performance for over 100 years—Bay Street Players is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1974.
The theatre presents four to six main stage productions each year, supplemented by a regular schedule of limited-engagements, benefits, and other special events. Bay Streets Players is committed to educating students young and old by offering the opportunity to learn in a live production environment through the Young People’s Theatre program—among the longest running youth theatre education initiatives in the nation—and by welcoming volunteers of varied skill sets seeking to grow.
