Bay Street Players is pleased to announce YOUNG PEOPLE’S THEATRE SUMMER CAMP! Camp will take place at the historic State Theatre from July 7–August 3, 2025 (Monday–Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm).
From 9:00am-12:00pm, students will break out into a variety of master theatre classes led by seasoned directors, actors, teachers, and artisans from across the region for specialized training in a variety of theatrical techniques: monologue and audition preparation, voice coaching, stage combat, puppetry, special effects makeup, and more! Following lunch—provided by the student—students will rehearse The Spongebob Musical: Youth Edition from 1:00pm-4:00pm.

Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
Performances of “The Spongebob Musical: Youth Edition” will be held at the State Theatre from August 1-3, 2025.
